Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a fantastic Easter and that you pigged out on candy and most importantly Peeps. I hope you all watched this because it’s my favorite thing ever. And now on to the deals (there weren’t a ton of food options today, but we’ll make do)!

Must Buy: Have I told you how much I love Scoutmob. It’s true. I think they have the best business model (no need to buy in advance) and often offer the best deals at better restaurants. I don’t how the back end works for the businesses, but for the customer it’s a great experience. Today’s Scoutmob for Astor Mediterranean is a must buy. Good food cheap is our game, and Astor plays right to it. Hands Down winner.

Must Buy: Eat the District loves a good open bar. What makes an open bar even better is if it’s held at a place you wouldn’t normally go to. The Capitol Deal is offering an open bar at the Dirty Martini for $32. Apps and a 3-hour open bar, count us in.

Fifty-Fifty: Scoutmob is also offering entrance to the Blosson Bake and Brew. This deal gets you admission to the event, beer tasting from Chocolate City Brewery (we’re big fans of Chcolate City at Eat the District), and a “pocket pie” from Dangerously Pies. Additionally there will be music and fun. While many would be consider this a must buy for the money we’re only going to mark it at fifty-fifty. It should be a blast, but the price point may be a bit high for some of our readers.

Avoid: Not a ton of food deals today, and nothing jumped out at us to definitely avoid. You’re saved today from bad deals.
