The Morning Roundup

The Morning Roundup 5/14/2012

Welcome back to the The Morning Roundup. Happy Monday all, I hope you’re staying dry out there. The weather’s looking gross today and tomorrow, so hopefully we’ll have some deals to warm you up.

Must Buy: Scoutmob has a good deal in Takoma Park today. Middle Eastern Cuisine and Market may not have the best name for a restaurant (or even close to the best name), but the food is good and relatively inexpensive for Middle Eastern food. You’re not getting a huge discount here, but the food is worth it. Located at 7006 Carroll Ave. hop off the Red Line at Takoma and you’re on your way.

Fifty-Fifty: This $25 for $50 to The Melting Pot from Groupon looked like a no brainer to start. However, it’s not valid for the DC branch. The closest one to the district is out by the Ballston metro. Good for you Virginia folks, not as great for DC dwellers. Buy it if you’re looking to cross the river for some fondue. Give it a pass if Virginia is not for you.

That’s all the food deals we have for today. Check back later for our interview with Bill Blackburn from Pork Barrel BBQ.
