Must Buy: Scoutmob’s 50% at RedRocks Pizzeria (1036 Park Rd., NW) is a typical no brainer from Scoutmob. Good food, not overly expensive, and no committment to buy make the Columbia Heights spot a slam dunk. Good pizza with a good beer selection sounds like a recipe for a great night out. The food is a little pricey, and you’re only getting $12 off but we still say yeah to this one.
Avoid: Back in our first Morning Roundup, Tsunami Sushi came up on LivingSocial. At the time I had this to say: “At first this one jumped out, but the sushi is overpriced (and any place with lounge in the title scares me where food is concerned).” Well they’re back with a Google Offer, and guess what? It’s still a bad deal. Give it a pass.
