Happy Tuesday. For myself and my Jewish friends today isn’t a day to think about food. But I’m happy to share the deals with you despite my empty stomach.
Must Buy: Yes. Yes. Yes. We’ve spoken on the merits of Kushi (465 K St., NW) before, and today’s LivingSocial deal won’t disappoint. $25 will either get you a tasting menu for one (with sake) or $25 for $50 for the table. I recommend grabbing a few of these and heading down with some friends and making a night of it.
Fifty-Fifty: I’m not overwhelmed by today’s The Capitol Deal to Lavandou (3321 Connecticut Ave., NW).Read On

Welcome back to Monday. We apologize for taking Friday off, but the deals just weren’t there. So we turn the page and enter the last week of August. Scary. Football season is inching ever closer.
Must Buy: There is rarely a really good sushi deal. Often you’ll get a “lounge” type deal to a place that serves mediocre sushi. Or the bargain just won’t be there. Today’s LivingSocial for $20 for $40 at Sushiko (2309 Wisconsin Ave.,NW) is both a good bargain (for sushi) and has some tasty food.Read On

Welcome to the middle of the week. Nothing much to say about it that any other Wednesday. So… to the deals!
Scoutmob: I am not H Street Correspondent Evan Chiacchiaro. However, I do enjoy a good burger. Today’s Scoutmob to The Big Board (421 H St., NE) screams Must Buy. It excludes Happy Hour (as is often the case), but does have a lot to offer deal wise. The burgers are serious stuff. $10 discount will get you two burgers easily. The drinks are not crazy expensive so you won’t break the bank here.

Happy Friday. Today’s my last day before vacation. You’ll hear some dispatches from my adventures in the coming week. But for now let’s part ways with some deals to tide you over. I’m going out on a high note with two Must Buys.
Must Buy: In a city not known for it’s pizza there’s a few places that have good deals and pretty good pizza. We’ve written about a few of them before, but today’s LivingSocial deal is for $14 for $30 to Flippin’ Pizza (1745 Connecticut Ave., NW).Read On

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a great birthday weekend, thanks for asking. Let’s get back into it. We have a few deals, but unfortunately they have some issues.
Must Buy: I love Chinese food. I especially love discounted good Chinese food. Today’s Google Offer of $15 for $30 at Fusion Grill definitely is discounted, and by the looks of it pretty good. You’re going to get a lot of food for your money here, which is what you want.
Fifty-Fifty: Today’s LivingSocial to Teak Wood (1323 14th St., NW) falls under the classic category of good restaurant, weak savings.Read On

Happy Thursday. We’re one day from August 3, which is a pretty special day (it’s my birthday). So hopefully we’ll have some great deals tomorrow. Today? Well let’s take a look at today’s deals:
Must Buy: One of the hidden gems of Georgetown is Wisey’s (1440 Wisconsin Ave., NW). They make a pretty solid sandwich/salad at a decent price. So that makes today’s Scoutmob a no-brainer. Only a $5 max discount, but the prices are pretty reasonable. Try out a smootie or a shake while you’re there.Read On

Well here it is. Friday. The end of the week. Olympics opening day. The beginning of over two weeks of unabashed jingoism. Let’s get some deals going to start your weekend.
Must Buy: I love Indian food. Usually deals to Indian restaurants just aren’t worth it. The places that they often feature are mediocre and the money just isn’t there. Today’s LivingSocial to Indique/Indique Heights proves to be an exception to the rule. $20 for $40 will get you mighty tasty, decently priced Indian.Read On

It’s almost Friday. Keep thinking that as you charge through today. You’re so close. I wish I had better deals to report, but alas I have nothing for you that makes me excited today.
Fifty-Fifty: Scoutmob’s deal to Sacrificial Lamb Kabobs & Wraps (1704 R St., NW) was one of those deals that seem good. But with only a max discount of $5 you’re not going to get enough off. I would go for the Chick Kabob or one of their gyros and get half off, but it’s hard to go out of your way for this.Read On

Hello Monday. I know many of you are dreading the day, but think about all the good food you ate this weekend. Also we got some deals to get your week started right.
Must Buy: Many of you might have heard of the event Drink the District (July 28). We are not involved with this entity, but we support it nonetheless. Today’s LivingSocial is VIP Admission for one. Now what this entitles you to is early entrance to the first session. The event is divided into sessions 12-4 and 5-9. I will personally be attending the 5-9 sessions, but this deal is only for the morning.Read On

It’s going to be over 100 degrees today, folks. Oof. Stay inside, drink a lot of water, and make yourself feel better by grabbing one of today’s great must-buys.
Must-buy: Groupon’s deal for $25 for $50 of food and drink at Biergarten Haus is a no-brainer, getting you 50% at one of the best spots to hangout on H Street. Snap this deal up and spend an evening in their outdoor beer garden, snacking on German-style food and choosing from their extensive beer list.
Must-buy: Today’s Scoutmob for $20 for $40 at Casa Oaxaca is a great deal for some of the most authentic Mexican food in DC.Read On
